10 Travel Items That Always Get Forgotton

Packing for your next adventure? Whilst some of us will be on the ball when it comes to writing up a detailed packing checklist, the rest of us are likely to forget something in the midst of the madness. Here are ten items that often get forgotten.

I'm Skin Confident; All thanks to Vichy

Todays post is about a certain duo that I have had the privilege to review recently and honestly it's changed my whole perception of my skin. I was recently asked if I would like to review the Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation and Setting Powder and I can honestly say I jumped at the chance! I have heard amazing things about the brand and never yet tried any of their products until now...

Glossybox: The Rose Gold Edit

Another beauty box that I'm catching up with. This glossybox was the December glossybox in collaboration with Beauty Blogger Really Ree. I think she has done an excellent job with this box, the packaging is gorgeous and the products inside are very

So we've all heard of the Ambient Lighting Blush Palette, haven't we? If not I do have a wee little review for you here that you can have a nosey of. Today I bring you another Hourglass palette, one that really made me unsure for a long amount of time. But I've given it a lengthy trying out and finally have my thoughts to share with you!

So it's take more than a while to work out my true feeling for this palette so I'll tell you my first impressions and my thoughts now.

Timeless Truths Deep Sea Extract Moisturising Mask*

Timeles Truths is a new brand to me, I've only just heard about them and when I was offered to try one of their sheet masks I was excited but a little anxious! I have never used a sheet mask before so this is my first but certainly won't be my last.

Current Everyday Make-up March 2015 Edition

I love reading these sorts of posts and I want to throw myself into my blog more, if you see where I'm coming from... I hardly ever used to wear makeup and now it is an essential to my day to day life, that's down to the facial scarring I have but that's a whole other story. I wanted to give you a glance at my everyday makeup because I have now perfected my routine and have a perfect every-day look for myself.

Sanctuary 5min Thermal Detox Mask

We all love a good pamper every now and again, for months I've wanted to try GlamGlow Super Mud but it's soooo expensive it's something I just cant afford right now, so I popped into boots and picked up the Sanctuary 5min Thermal Detox Mask.

Magnitone Lucid 7 Day Challenge

You guessed it! I splashed out on a cleansing brush, my skin has been awful lately, really dull and nothing worth looking at. The Magnitone Pulsar designed by Pixie Lott herself arrived on my doorstep within two days of me putting my order through which was really fast delivery and I started my 7 Day Challenge.

Magnitone claim that you will have 'softer, clearer and brighter skin

La Roche-Possay Serozinc

This product has been talked about for ages and I finally got my hands on it thanks to it being stocked at escentual.com! Boy was I excited when this arrived on my doorstep! I still am excited, not only because I have this beautiful product but today it's my 3rd anniversary with my boyfriend! How time flies!

Did you know that La Roche-Posay is part of L'Oreal? No, neither did I until I embarked on some research into the La Roche Posay brand! I learnt that the brand originates from France. Which is probably why we didn't get the product here until now. I love learning about the history of the brands but sadly I couldn't find much about La Roche Posay as an individual most of it was about L'Oreal. Never the less both amazing brands which I've learnt is actually just one brand.

La Roche-Posay Serozinc is a toner for oily, blemish-prone skin. It's a facial mist which is made from Aqua/Water, Sodium Chloride and Zinc Sulphate. This has now become a staple in my skincare regime and I've actually already got a backup for when I run out. This claims to make skin look mattified, less greasy and shiny. It's been specifically designed to target key signs of oily, blemish prone skin. This is also suitable for those who have acne prone skin.

How I use: I double cleanse once by using my Magnitone Lucid and one using my hands then I spray this all over my face and leave to dry (make sure you have your eyes closed when using this). I pat of any excess and then apply my favourite moisturiser. I'm actually so close to picking up the La Roche Posay Effaclar Mat to use after this toner to keep the shininess at bay, we shall see what happens next time I pop into boots as I am extremely low on my daily moisturiser. I use Serozinc day and night and my skin had improved a lot. I have seen a real difference just by adding two things to my routine which has been my Magnitone Lucid and Serozinc. Skin is softer, brighter, blemishes are fading, my makeup stays on longer and looks more like skin now instead of an extra layer!

I cannot recommend this enough, I absolutely love this product! If you have oily/greasy skin you NEED this product. I don't know how I ever managed without this and I don't think I will ever manage without it again!
What's your staple skincare product?
